At a relaxed pace you will be involved in the process of printing from start to finish.

We will take your artwork and make it print-ready, then in a number of hands-on stages (interspersed with cups of tea) you will learn in the morning how to:-

Coat your screen with emulsion,
Expose your screen on the camera bed
Carefully wash the screen to watch your stencil appear.
Plan your ink colours and prepare your paper ready for an afternoon of printing.

After lunch comes the fun part where you will print and dry your first and second colours
then we clean the screens of ink and remove the stencils then end with yet another cuppa whilst we stand back to admire your handiwork.

All equipment, inks and paper will be provided plus the all important coffee/tea and biscuits.

Session starts at 10:00am and we are usually done by 4:00pm.

Price is based on one person in a class of 2 students making 10 editions of a 2 colour screenprint.

For Covid safety all involved should be prepared to take an LFT test prior to arrival. Hand sanitiser is available and with the messy nature of printing, one is constantly washing hands. All sessions will adhere to government guidelines regarding masks and alternative dates are arrangeable on the day of the session, in case of positive test results on all sides. I am up-to-date with all vaccines.
